Ajays Treats is a UK-based artisan handmade chocolate business. All products are made in small batches with care and attention to detail.
Each product is individually handmade by an autistic artisan. This means that small variations in appearance, shape, finish, decoration, and weight may occur.
These variations are a natural part of the handmade process and enhance the unique, individual character of each product. Such variations are not defects and do not affect quality or safety.
• Product descriptions and images are provided as a guide only.
• We take reasonable care to ensure all descriptions are accurate.
• Due to the handmade nature of our chocolates, minor visual differences are expected and accepted as part of the artisan process.
• A product will only be considered “not as described” if it materially differs from the description provided.
• Full ingredient and allergen information is provided at the point of sale.
• Products are made in an environment that handles nuts, dairy, gluten, and soy.
• Customers are responsible for checking allergen information before purchasing.
• Ajays Treats cannot accept liability for allergic reactions where correct information has been clearly provided.
• Orders are confirmed once payment has been received in full.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders due to availability, pricing errors, or misuse.

• Responsibility for goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
• Ajays Treats is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather conditions, or incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.
• If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
• Claims must include clear photographic evidence of the damaged product and its original packaging.
• Claims received after 24 hours may be refused.
Where damage is confirmed, Ajays Treats may offer (at our discretion):
• A replacement
• A partial refund
• A full refund where the product is unusable
• Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
• Minor variations caused by the handmade process do not qualify as faults.
• A partial refund, or
• A full refund once the product is returned (if requested)
• Approved in advance
• Unused and in original condition
• Returned within 7 days of approval
• Our chocolates are perishable goods. Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled.
• The statutory 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to perishable items under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
• Approved refunds will be processed within 7 working days to the original payment method.
• Delivery charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
• Storage guidance is provided with each product.
• Ajays Treats is not responsible for deterioration caused by improper storage once delivery has been completed.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
• Ajays Treats shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• Liability is limited to the price paid for the affected product.
• We are not responsible for damage or quality issues arising after delivery due to handling or storage.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.
